Carol grew up in a family that ran a small business. She understands the dedication and hard work that is required to make a business successful. With an entrepreneurial spirit in her blood, she listens to other entrepreneurs about their journey that inspired them to be a business owner and learns from their experiences.
Carol started her career in banking in 2003. She quickly advanced from Receptionist, Customer Service Rep, Branch Manager, to being promoted Business Development Officer. She understands the different banking areas and particularly excels in business deposit knowledge. Carol has served twice as the President of the Sparta Area Chamber and was voted a lifetime member. She was also the 2013 Lady Butterfest and Treasurer of the Monroe County Dairy Breakfast.
In her spare time, Carol enjoys spending time with her family, biking, hiking, kayaking, cooking and gardening.
