Outgoing Wire Transfer

| Processing Time | Wire Transfers are not instantaneous. Wires may process within a few hours for domestic (U.S.) transfers, but foreign wires can take up to several weeks. We cannot guarantee that a wire will process by a certain time or date. Processing time from Altra is dependent on information, research and/or follow-up required. Once the wire is processed from Altra, we have no control over the processing time at the receiving financial institution. |

1. Contact the financial institution you want to transfer money to for specific wiring instructions. Instructions vary between financial institutions. Always request printed instructions. 2. Visit your nearest Altra Branch to initiate the wire transfer, or contact our Member Contact Center at 800-755-0055. Wires cannot be initiated through email or Live Chat. |

Note: Altra Federal Credit Union does not have a Swift Code, IBAN or other international routing code, nor do we have a correspondent bank. You can wire funds to your Altra Federal Credit Union Account without this information. Your international financial institution will have a corresponding bank in the U.S. they can wire funds. The funds can then forward to Altra Federal Credit Union using our routing number: 291881216.
