Use your Altra Debit Card anywhere on World Hunger Day, May 28th, and Altra Federal Credit Union will donate $1.00 (up to $5,000) to hunger organizations in the communities we serve.* The first $2,500 will be divided equally between five organizations in our community! *Donations will be withdrawn from member accounts on Friday, May 30. Donations will be sent to the charity that was selected in the voting. If there are not sufficient funds in a member's account to cover the donation, the donation will not be withdrawn. Altra will donate $1.00 per debit card purchase up to a maximum of $5,000. $500 will be divided equally between the following charities: The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse WI, the East Texas Food Bank of Tyler, Texas, Empty Bowls of Clarksville, TN, Winona Volunteer Services of Winona, MN, and Channel 1 of Rochester, MN. Votes will determine remaining $2500 distribution. When voting, the option to donate an additional amount to the charity of your choice will be available. One day only: May 28, 2014.
