Biometric Fingerprint Authentication for Mobile
Sign in to Mobile Banking on your eligible device using your fingerprint—no need for a pass code! It’s available for most Apple® and Android™ devices that have a fingerprint scanner. If you do not have a Touch ID enabled phone, you can still use Quick Access by entering a 4-digit PIN.
Step 1: Update your Altra Mobile app
Update with the latest version by visiting the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2: Set up Touch ID on your device
If you don't already have the Touch ID function set up on your device, open the Settings app on your device and select the Touch ID & Passcode option. Enter your device passcode, then select the Add A Fingerprint option. Follow the device prompts to complete set up.
Step 3: Open your Altra Mobile app
Open the Altra mobile app and log in with your online banking username and password. Click the menu bar and select the Quick Access option.
Enable Quick Access.
Create a PIN (you'll be prompted to re-enter PIN on next page). Select the Menu bar and log out of mobile banking.
Step 4: Log in with Quick Access/Touch ID
Open Altra's mobile app. When the Login with Quick Access screen appears, hold your finger over the fingerprint scanner (don't press on the scanner) or use your 4-digit PIN to log in to Altra mobile banking.
For security purposes, you cannot access Bill Pay or Transfers unless you log in using your online banking user name and password. You will be prompted to do so when accessing those features within mobile banking.
