Jay came to Altra in 2018 from the insurance industry with seven years of experience working closely with lenders and real estate agents helping people make one of the largest and most important decisions of their lives. Home Ownership! He was intrigued by the mortgage lending side of what he calls "The Triangle of Happiness" (Real Estate Agent, Loan Officer, and Insurance Agent) and jumped at the opportunity to join Altra's team of lenders.
Jay is a native Clarksvillian, married to Valarie, has a daughter Lexi, and their dog Angel. Jay currently serves as the President Elect of The Clarksville Rotary Club, is a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and a member of both The Clarksville Association of Realtors and The Homebuilder's Association. In his spare time Jay is an avid bass fisherman, enjoys traveling with family, playing golf (not very well), and is a BBQ pit master. He also enjoys riding his Harley Davidson when he is not working.
