Altra Federal Credit Union Promotes Craig Sacia to Senior Vice President of Lending!
Altra Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce Craig Sacia has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Lending. Craig will be responsible for the Real Estate and Credit Services groups.
“Craig has done an outstanding job since he began working at Altra in 2002,” said Mike Nickel, Executive Vice-President, Chief Lending Officer, for Altra Federal Credit Union. “Craig’s extensive lending knowledge, management skills, and proven growth strategies will serve him well as he leads Real Estate and Credit Services.”
Craig has over 27 years of experience in the financial services arena. He started out as the Credit Services Manager for Altra before advancing to Vice President of Consumer Lending in 2008. During this time, Consumer Lending saw record growth and Altra achieved the top market share for auto loans in La Crosse and Winona. He is also responsible for starting Altra’s Outbound Lending Center.
In 2017, Craig became Vice President of Real Estate Services. Under his leadership, the Real Estate group has experienced tremendous growth in new volume and loans outstanding. Sacia has overseen several technological and process advances aimed at making the mortgage loan experience better for Altra members.
Craig has a Master of Business Administration from Viterbo University and has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Winona State University. He lives with his wife and 3 of their 4 children in Trempealeau, WI while their 4th child is away in college. He is active in Shelter Development, a nonprofit aimed at curbing homelessness in the La Crosse area. He enjoys working in the garage, and fishing in his spare time
