You
will be asked to enter identifying information to receive
a validation code via email. Once you have received that
code, you continue the registration process by entering
information about your accounts at other credit unions,
banks, or brokerages.

For optimal security, there is one more account validation
process. You will be asked to enter your account number
and PIN for online banking at the other financial. This
will allow you to begin using Funds Transfer immediately.
If you do not use online banking at the other institution,
Altra will make several small deposits to your accounts
at the other institutions, using the Standard transfer
service. When those deposits have been received, you will
be asked to type in the amounts that were deposited to
verify you have access to those accounts. You will then
be able to make transfers.

With Altra's
Funds Transfer, moving money between your accounts at different
financial institutions is easy. The first time you do a
transfer, you will also be asked to establish a PIN; you
will use that same PIN for all subsequent Transfers.
Using Funds Transfer
1. Specify
accounts - choose account to withdraw funds FROM and
account to deposit funds TO.
2. Choose a service type - either Standard (3 business days)
or Premium
(next business day).
3. Enter the dollar amount. Review your entries, and click
Submit.

You
will receive two emails; the first confirming the transfer
has been scheduled and the other when the funds
have arrived.

Pay People
allows you to send an electronic payment to someone without
having to know their account number.
Using Pay People
1. Enter
the name and email address of the recipient, or choose
from someone from your list of Friends.
2. Type in the recipient's name and email address
3. Select the account to withdraw funds from.
4. Enter your own email address and a message for the recipient.

5. Choose
your own secret code and type it in so only your intended
recipient can collect payment.
6. Enter the amount, confirm the instructions, and click
on Submit.

7. Contact the recipient by phone to let them know the secret
code
- it will not be included in the Pay People payment
notification.
Your recipient will receive an email letting them know
you've sent a payment; this email contains detailed instructions
for Altra members and non-members on how to retrieve their
funds.
