In 1912, the Titanic was glorified as the largest and most luxurious passenger ship in history. Maybe it’s the irony of a ship thought to be unsinkable going down on its maiden voyage, or the tragedy of 1500+ people from all walks of life losing their lives in icy waters, but there’s something about RMS Titanic that continues to capture imaginations.
Please join us on Wednesday, April 3rd with special guest speaker Tom Pahs, who has been collecting artifacts and studying RMS Titanic history for over 35 years.
Pahs, a retired analyst for Trane Co., started collecting in the late 1990s when he found The Titanic Collection—a box set of replica memorabilia from the ship. Over the years he has acquired an extensive collection of Titanic history and artifacts, including 350 Titanic books, three pieces of coal, posters, videos, ship models and prints.
Guests are welcome to attend & light refreshments will be provided! No RSVP required.
