Altra is partnering with Confidential Records to host a FREE Community Drive-Thru Shred Event at our Operations Center located at 1700 Oak Forest Dr., Onalaska, on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00am – 12:00pm, or until the shred truck is full (whichever is first). We will be accepting free-will donations for La Crosse Area Crime Stoppers, who will be on site to answer questions about safety in our community. Plus, Altra members participating in this event can also register for a chance to win a Personal Shredder! *
IMPORTANT DETAILS
- ENTER event from the main parking lot entrance on Oak Forest Drive. All traffic will EXIT onto Wilson Street.
- Shred up to 3 grocery-sized bags/small boxes per vehicle. This limit is strict due to shred truck capacity (sorry, no exceptions). Altra staff will remove your shred bags/boxes from your trunk or backseat and place them inside the shredder for you – no need to exit your vehicle.
- The following items cannot be shredded: Food items, black butterfly clips, hanging file folders, 3-ring binders, foam packing materials, hard drives, magnetic tapes, or plastic items. Business/Commercial shredding is not accepted at this event.
*Altra membership required to win personal shredder. Member must be age 18 or over; one entry per member. Prize not redeemable for cash or exchange. Winner will be notified on Monday, May 20, 2024. Winner must be able to pick up the prize at an Altra office of their choice.
Confidential Records, Inc. (CRI) is the professional records management company that Altra relies on to destroy trash that might contain confidential information. At Altra, we separate all paper trash and everything containing member information is stored in locked shredding bins until CRI shreds those documents on-site.
